Amitabh Bachchan reveals his equations with Bal Thackeray
Nawazuddin Siddiqui's Thackeray shall be releasing this Friday and has already created a lot of buzz.
Thackeray, is a biopic on the Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray, and will be starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead role.
The trailer launch of Thackeray created some controversy with its anti-South Indian sentiments and offensive dialogues. A lot of people are against the idealogies of Balasaheb Thackeray.
Well, there are also several celebrities who have been supporters of Balasaheb Thackeray.
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan was present at the teaser launch of the film and expressed his views on him.
He shared that Balasaheb stood by his side in the times of difficulty. He also revealed that the time he went into a critical state while shooting for ‘Coolie’, he was rushed to Mumbai where the weather was not good and no ambulance could reach to pick him up. At that time, Bal Thackeray came to his rescue and provided him with a Shiva Sena ambulance. Mr. Bacchan said, “Balasaheb helped me when I needed it most. If it had not been for him, I would not have been alive today."
