Thalapathy 63: Vijay's next with Atlee launched
Vijay is reuniting with director Atlee for his next. Thalapathy 63 (working title) was launched today with a customary pooja ceremony. Shoot is expected to commence from tomorrow. AGS Entertainment is producing the movie, which is yet to be titled. The movie is scheduled for a grand Diwali release in October.
Unlike Vijay-Atlee team’s earlier films, Thalapathy 63 will be a sports drama, something that the actor has not done before in his career. He is reportedly playing the role of a coach in the movie. Nayanthara has been signed as the female lead. Kathir, who is fresh from the superhit success of ‘Pariyerum Perumal’, has also been roped in to play an important role. Vivek and Yogi Babu are also confirmed in the cast.
On the technical front, music department will be handled by maestro AR Rahman and cinematography by GK Vishnu. Editor Antony Ruben, lyricist Vivek and action choreographer Anal Arasu are also on board.
