Kabir Khan REVEALS when Ranveer Singh will kick-start the shooting of 83

The actor who last impressed us with his cop-drama, Simmba, is now gearing up for his first collaboration with Kabir Khan. Ranveer has joined hands with the director for 83 wherein he will be playing reel life Kapil Dev. The film is based on the Indian Cricket Team's 1983 world cup. Recently, in a media interaction, Kabir divulged some deets about the project and revealed as to when the film will go on floors. .
"The major four-month schedule in London is May-June-July-August and some shooting will be in India," the 48-year-old said. Further, Kabir went on to say about Ranveer's training. The filmmaker described his training session saying, "It's loads of fun, it's like boot camp, we train for 3 hours: physical and skills training and establishing different styles. Looks like, the actor is training intensively for the role. Apart from 83, the actor will be seen in Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy opposite Alia Bhatt. The actor is essaying the role of a street rapper. Gully Boy is inspired by the lives of two Mumbai rappers Naezy and Divine. And it is set to release on February 14. As for Takht, the magnum opus is slated for 2020 release..
